History and development of REKMA

Slovakia – The Beginning of the REKMA Group

REKMA – Trading, s.r.o. was founded in 1991 in Slovakia, with its headquarters in Holíč. Since its inception, the company has specialized in repairing and maintaining asphalt and cement concrete surfaces on highways, roads, airports, and bridges.

The company expanded into other Central European countries thanks to growing success and increasing demand for high-quality services.


Czech Republic – Expansion into the Czech Market

In 1994, REKMA, spol. s r.o. was established in Břeclav, focusing on the same field of activity. The company quickly built a strong position in the Czech market through innovative approaches and a strong emphasis on quality.

 

In 1996, REKMA – Trading, spol. s r.o. was founded in Břeclav, specializing in machinery and material solutions for maintaining transport infrastructure. Its goal is to ensure a systematic approach, higher quality, cost savings, and longer service life for airport surfaces, highways, roads, bridges, parking areas, and industrial floors.

That same year, REKMA – Trading became the exclusive authorized distributor of Crafco Inc. for Central European countries. It later expanded its representation to include International Chem-Crete Corporation and Keizer-Morris International.


Poland – Further Expansion and Market Leadership

In 1998, REKMA Sp. z o.o. was established in Kraków, extending the company’s operations to the Polish market. With modern technologies and high-quality services, it quickly gained a leading position in transport infrastructure maintenance and repair.
